Fiber Optical Transceiver Overview

The LNK-MDR4K Series 4K DVI Fiber Extender are designed to support transmission of uncompressed DVI signal and RS232 signal over optical fiber up to distances of 80km at a resolution of maximum 4K*2K@60Hz, YUV 4:2:0. The Transmitter converts DVI signal to a single 10Gb/s serial data stream for transmission over optical fiber. The Receiver converts the serial data back to an DVI signal.
